Key Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site position located in Carole Park, Brisbane. As a Fibreglass Composites Technician, the technician will be responsible for preparing moulds, laminating fibreglass and finishing composite parts to a high standard.

Daily Tasks
  • Using hand tools and power tools to prepare and laminate fibreglass
  • Interpreting technical drawings to create composite structures
  • Mixing and applying resins and catalysts
  • Performing quality checks to ensure structural integrity and aesthetics of products

Additionally, the technician will need to maintain high standards, work effectively as part of a team and possess effective problem-solving skills.

Requirements
  • Experience with fibreglass laminating, mould preparation and creating composite structures
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
  • Attention to detail for performing quality checks
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team
  • Physical stamina and manual dexterity for handling fibreglass materials and tools
