Visual Effects Specialist Job Description

Overview:
Mercor is collaborating with leading AI labs to work with experienced production and post-production professionals. We are seeking specialists including producers, directors, continuity experts, and VFX artists to ensure high production value and disciplined multimedia workflows. This engagement offers the chance to contribute creative and technical expertise toward shaping how AI systems learn from and generate cinematic-quality outputs.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and structure multimedia production pipelines for consistency and quality
  • Maintain continuity across scenes and sequences for coherence
  • Design and refine visual effects to enhance production quality
  • Review AI-generated outputs and provide expert evaluation for realism and polish

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of professional experience in film, television, or multimedia production
  2. Proven track record in producing, directing, or post-production supervision
  3. Expertise with industry-standard production and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Nuke)
  4. Strong organizational skills with attention to continuity and detail
  5. Ability to collaborate asynchronously while delivering high-quality results independently
