We are seeking a highly skilled Planning and Approvals Specialist to join our team at KBR, working in partnership with SA Water. This exciting opportunity will see you provide input, advice, and expertise on planning and approvals across land use changes, soil contamination, water courses, habitats, and flora and fauna.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver assigned tasks and projects, including development of environmental impact assessments, environmental approval applications, and other environmental studies and management plans.
- Provide input, advice, and expertise on environmental matters and planning studies into KBR's engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Apply relevant Commonwealth, State, and Local legislation, policies, and guidelines.
- Produce high-quality professional reports and deliverables.
- Develop and present land use planning advice, options, and recommendations based on appropriate analysis of planning policy, engineering, environmental, economic, social, political, operational, and risk factors.
- Prepare, coordinate, and manage development applications for major water projects with varying complexity and scales.
