Automotive Parts Sales Manager

This is a challenging and all-encompassing position that involves working closely with automotive dealer networks to increase the sales of parts to the local independent mechanical repair trade.
The key focus of the position is to assist and coach the dealers' parts departments and teams to achieve target sales and profitability.
The successful incumbent will work with strategically identified dealers, leading parts sales activities and providing direction to ensure ongoing target achievement while mentoring staff towards increasing profitability.
Some travel will be required in this role, but it will not be excessive – perhaps a few nights away from home per month.
Responsibilities- Lead parts sales activities and provide direction to ensure ongoing target achievement
- Mentor staff towards increasing profitability
- Work with strategically identified dealers to increase sales of parts
- Assist and coach the dealers' parts departments and teams
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in the automotive genuine or aftermarket parts industry
- Strong experience in a sales or operations role
- Experience in leading parts operations, either at a branch or regional level, to increased sales and profitability
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the dealer network
- Ability to identify growth opportunities
A competitive salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on experience and attributes. A fully maintained company vehicle, super, phone, and laptop will be in addition to the base salary.
