Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced machinery operator to fill this key role at our nursery in Perth, Tasmania.

Main Responsibilities:

• The selected candidate will be responsible for providing on-site support to the operational team, ensuring daily activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Operate tractors, forklifts, and other farm equipment, including irrigation systems and chemical applicators.
• Perform various tasks such as fertilization, spraying, and maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborate with the irrigation team to ensure efficient water management.

Required Skills:

• Prior experience working in agriculture or a similar industry with tractor operation skills.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Valid driver's license.
• Australian working rights.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions. The successful candidate must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads.
