Heavy Industry Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. This role involves providing routine and reactive maintenance on plant equipment, valve and RV change outs, confined space isolations, gauze changeouts, hydro testing, plate cooler exchange, installation of pipe work and flange management.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine and reactive maintenance tasks on plant equipment
- Carry out valve and RV change outs, confined space isolations, gauze changeouts, hydro testing, plate cooler exchange, and installation of pipe work
- A Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade is essential
- Ability to enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E) is mandatory
- Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) within 2 years is required
- A Construction white card is necessary
- Rights to work in Australia are required
- Ability to obtain QLD Explosives Security Clearance is essential
- Previous experience working within a heavy industry environment is beneficial
- Ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills is required
- Commitment to safety and wellbeing of yourself and colleagues is essential
