Quality Assurance Test Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Test Analyst to join our digital applications team. This contract opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy improving rostering practices and enhancing employee satisfaction through the implementation of contemporary solutions.

About the Job

This role involves collaborating with the Test Lead and QA team to design, run, and manage test cases aligned with business requirements. As a Quality Assurance Test Analyst, you will create, report, and trace defects using designated tools, ensuring high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Test Lead and QA team to plan, design, and execute test cases aligned with business needs.
  • Create, manage, and report defects in designated tools with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Review and validate acceptance criteria to ensure thorough test coverage.
  • Participate in release testing and maintain up-to-date documentation.
  • Support UAT activities and foster strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Test Analyst in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience in integration testing (API, SFTP) and manual functional testing.
  • Background in Workforce Management, including Time & Attendance, Awards/EBAs, or Scheduling/Rostering systems (desirable).
  • Proficiency in test planning, test case writing, and using test tools like ALM (or similar).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
