Ravenswood School for Girls is a day and boarding school located on Sydney's North Shore. The school offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the Primary Years Programme in the Junior School.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Head of Junior School – Deputy Principal in the development, administration, and implementation of academic programs in the Junior School
  • Lead teaching teams in the development of curriculum programs using the NSW curriculum and the IB Primary Years Programme frameworks

This is a permanent, full-time position with a teaching load associated with it. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Comprehensive expertise in K-6 teaching, programming, assessment, and evaluation of outcomes
  • Teaching and leadership experience in an IB PYP school (advantageous)
  • A strong understanding of current innovative practices and emerging trends in primary education
  • The ability to develop positive relationships and foster collaboration among teachers and key stakeholders
  • A commitment to Positive Education and wellbeing
  • Qualification in Education and registration with NESA
  • Proven leadership skills in curriculum development, innovation, and management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
