Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our UK Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring financial and tax compliance of all our Australian entities. This is a technical role that requires expertise in statutory and tax accounting, as well as experience in financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for all Australian entities.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, including GST, FBT, and corporation tax.
  • Payroll Management: Prepare and submit payroll reports, including BAS and PAYG.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Planning: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Financial Systems: Develop and maintain financial systems, databases, and policies.
  • Corporate Finance: Assist in the preparation of financial reports for group and Australian auditors.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
  • Skills: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, financial reporting experience, tax experience, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
