Key Responsibilities

The Configuration Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting our Vehicle Systems division at MILVEHCOE (Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence) Redbank. This opportunity allows you to collaborate with engineers, technical specialists, and analysts who work on Tactical Vehicles.

Primary Objectives

  • Establish and maintain the configuration management environment, policy, and procedure guidelines.
  • Manage CM planning, reporting, and audits for related projects.
  • E nsure project-related data is created and maintained within a strong governance framework and consistent process across the organisation.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Configuration Management and Change Management.
  • Strong background in Project Configuration Management.
  • Experience in Defence contract project configuration management.
  • Skill in dealing with parts lists and drawings.
  • Ability to influence people from different levels of the organisation.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
