Bairnsdale Regional Health Service is seeking experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our Rehabilitation Unit. As a Rehabilitation Nurse, you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to develop goal-directed care plans, encouraging participation from patients. Our team enjoys building relationships with patients and family members, and finds it fulfilling to see patients achieve their objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective care to patients following surgery, illness, or accident, and other conditions.
- Develop and implement goal-directed care plans, encouraging patient participation.
- Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve patient outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to students and inexperienced team members.
- Experience in rehabilitation nursing with current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse.
- Demonstrated competence in a clinical setting, preferably in the sub-acute setting.
- Ability to undertake full patient assessments and develop goal-based care plans.
- Proven ability to follow direction from experienced team members and provide guidance to students and inexperienced team members.
