Information Security Threat Analyst

This role focuses on monitoring customer environments to identify cyber threats and performing investigation/response activities in accordance with established processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical focus with broad security knowledge, experience, and deep understanding of various SOC domains and incident stages. They will also possess excellent communication and analytical skills, enabling effective incident identification, triage, and investigation.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior SOC Analysts
- Act as the first escalation point for SOC Analysts
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to investigate and respond to security incidents
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team
- Contribute to the development of SOC processes and procedures
The successful candidate will be an expert in recognizing and discussing key skills such as network technologies, OWASP top-ten, and direct experience in resolving security incidents. They will also possess experience with SIEM, UEBA, SOAR, EDR technologies, and threat intelligence feeds.
