Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to lead our design team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical designs to clients.
About the JobThe successful candidate will have expertise in AutoCAD and experience in leading design teams. They will also have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret conceptual designs into detailed technical deliverables.
- Create and update electrical system deliverables, including diagrams, schematics, and equipment BOMs.
- Conduct site inspections to gather data and verify existing drawings.
- Maintain AutoCAD infrastructure and design tool procedures.
- Train new starters in MIPAC's AutoCAD and design tool procedures.
- Collaborate with drafters, designers, and engineers to ensure timely project completion.
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience as an Electrical/Instrumentation/Control Detail Draftsperson.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in design tools like AVEVA Instrumentation and Eplan.
- Experience in 3D modelling software.
- Strong oral communication skills for effective client and team interaction.
- High level of computer literacy and excellent mathematical skills.
