Environmental Leadership Opportunity

Job Description:

As a seasoned environmental planner, you will be leading diverse infrastructure projects across energy, transport, and water sectors. Your key responsibilities will include delivering timely and high-quality environmental impact assessments and related studies.

  • Strategic Planning: You will oversee constraints analyses, strategic planning pathway assessments, and environmental management plans to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Resource Management: You will manage project resources, budgets, and schedules to maintain quality standards and meet client expectations.
  • Mentorship: You will guide junior staff members, including graduates and undergraduates, in their technical and professional development.
  • Client Relationships: You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders by applying commercial acumen and emotional intelligence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental planning, or environmental engineering.
  • Proven experience in environmental impact assessment with a strong industry reputation.
  • Excellent project management/coordination skills, commercial acumen, and emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to mentor junior and mid-level consulting staff in the environmental planning and approvals technical area.
