Environmental Planning Role

This position involves leading the environmental planning team in delivering infrastructure projects across various sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental regulations and approvals, as well as experience in shaping narratives for major reports.

  • Guide the direction and structure of environmental approvals and impact assessments
  • Mentor juniors and support the broader project delivery team
  • Play a key role in liaising with regulatory bodies and clients

The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team that values good work over corporate grind. The business has scaled steadily and sustainably, with a clear strategy in place for further growth.

Key Requirements
  • Mid-Senior level experience in environmental planning or a related field
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and approvals
  • Experience in shaping narratives for major reports
  • Ability to mentor juniors and support the broader project delivery team

About the Opportunity

This role sits within the Infrastructure Advisory team and supports the delivery of Coordinated Projects (SDPWO Act), EPBC referrals, and major environmental approvals across a wide mix of sectors.

You'll be surrounded by a mix of technical experts across Environmental Planning, Ecology, Landscape Architecture, and GIS. The team is collaborative, capable, and low-ego—people who want to do good work without the usual corporate grind.
