Project Engineer Role Overview

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a senior role in project engineering. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering projects that meet high standards of quality, safety, and commerciality.


About the Job
  • The successful candidate will have significant experience in subsea/offshore engineering and project delivery, with a strong understanding of relevant technologies and processes.
  • You will work closely with the project manager and lead engineers to execute project work scopes and ensure timely delivery.
  • Key responsibilities will include evaluating and enhancing emerging technologies, executing work packages, and supervising junior engineers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical, mechatronic, structural, or ocean engineering, or naval architecture.
  • Proven experience with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project, with specialist software skills such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks highly desirable.
  • A full driver's license and ability to obtain an offshore survival course and pass the associated medical exam.
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa.
