Housekeeping Attendant Job Description

Cleveland Estate Macedon Ranges is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Housekeeping team. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in our hotel rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To carry out allocated general cleaning duties, achieving established standards of cleanliness and presentation to meet guests' needs and exceed their expectations about the cleanliness of the room areas of the hotel.
  • Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.
  • Clean guest rooms, storage areas and corridors as allocated to the required standard.
  • Ensure guest supplies and advertising material in bedrooms and bathrooms are replenished to the correct standards for the room type.
  • Report any lost property following correct procedures.
  • Carry out programmed / regular cleaning duties as allocated.
  • Ensure guest laundry is handled in line with Hotel policy.
  • Use and clean equipment with care, reporting any defective equipment asset down in procedures manual.
  • Ensure all department equipment is maintained to a high standard.
  • Assist with regular equipment stocktaking.
  • Ensure the security of keys and guest rooms at all times by adherence to security procedures.
  • Report any suspicious persons or items to Supervisor.
Requirements:
  • An eye for detail and a passion for delivering flawless guests experiences.
  • Experience in high quality cleaning and customer service highly regarded.
  • Ability to work well independently and self-manage workload and quality of rooms.
  • Love a challenge, take extreme pride in work and recognise the importance of exceptional guest service.
  • Well presented and ready to rock when you come to work with a positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
