Design and Develop Mechanical Systems

A critical role in the development of innovative mechanical systems is available for a skilled engineer. As part of this team, you will work on designing, building, and activating custom machinery and infrastructure to enable the production and handling of launch vehicles.

This position requires collaboration with multiple disciplines to ensure the successful implementation of projects. You will also be responsible for developing Starship's factory of the future, enabling rapid build, test, and operation of transport architectures.

The ideal candidate will have experience using CAD software design packages and knowledge of structural sizing, mechanism design, hardware fabrication, and activation testing. A strong understanding of GD&T and finite element analysis is also required.
