Job Summary:

As a Senior Educational Technology Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic implementation of educational technologies across the institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise on emerging educational technologies, enhancing the learning experience for students and staff alike;
  • Review and recommend cutting-edge technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency;
  • Identify and eliminate duplication and inefficiencies in educational systems, promoting a seamless user experience;
  • Enhance accessibility and inclusivity in digital content, ensuring equal opportunities for all.

This position requires an individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, who can translate complex information into easily understandable terms.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in first and second tier customer support and ability to research, analyse data and provide recommendations;
  • Proven ability to conduct audits, analyse usage data, and identify duplication and inefficiencies in educational technologies;
  • Extensive experience in managing and supporting diverse learning management systems, with specific experience in Moodle, Kaltura, Turnitin, Mahara, and Respondus being highly desirable.
