Job Title: Mobile Processing Unit (MPU)/Stemming Truck Operator
">About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Mobile Processing Unit (MPU)/Stemming Truck Operator at Pembroke Resource's new project in the Bowen Basin - the Olive Downs Complex.
Pembroke Resource's Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located 40 kilometres South-east of Moranbah, which commenced mining operations. We have recently been awarded a five-year contract to deliver full-service mining operations, including mine planning, overburden removal, drill and blast, load and haul (autonomous), water management, and rehabilitation as well as the construction of the mine infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities
You will work within site-specific safety requirements, ensuring safe and efficient loading of blast holes following blast design. You will also be responsible for accurate recording of explosives loaded on a hole-by-hole basis, ensuring equipment is inspected and fit for operation prior to use, and recording and reporting of defects found when operating equipment. Additionally, you will assist as directed by the Shotfirer in Charge when not required in your primary role.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring proven experience working in a similar environment preferably within coal mining, ability to operate a loader, bobcat, and stemming truck, current Queensland Explosives Security Clearance or ability to obtain, demonstrated compliance with safety and a good knowledge of explosive regulations, and current Standard 11.
