Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Paeds in a Pod is a private medical practice that delivers specialist care to infants, children, and adolescents. Our mission is to provide comprehensive medical care with best practice standards and modern expertise.
We offer 24 hour neonatal care to the Greenslopes Maternity Service and Special Care Nursery. Our areas of specialisation include growth and development, and we provide a multidisciplinary team approach to manage complex paediatric patients.
About You- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or higher degree
- National Police Check and Working with Children Check
As the Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing early intensive therapy and occupational therapy services for children aged 2-18 years. Your tasks will include one-on-one intervention sessions, multi-disciplinary and transdisciplinary group interventions, and writing therapeutic reports as required.
You will work with other members of the clinical team to provide a transdisciplinary service that helps children achieve meaningful participation in their everyday settings. The service will support families to identify and build on a child's strengths, interests, and capabilities, while delivering excellence in care and promoting the practice effectively.
