About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Podiatrist to join our team at Flinders Upper North Regional Health Service. As a Senior Podiatrist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing healthcare delivery in rural and remote South Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead allied health professionals in providing high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Develop and implement innovative care models to improve health outcomes
  • Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to drive service enhancements and workforce development
  • Provide advanced clinical assessments and treatments for patients with foot and lower limb conditions
  • Oversee junior podiatrists and allied health professionals, ensuring they receive the necessary support and guidance
Requirements
  • Recognized qualification in Podiatry and eligibility for full membership of the relevant Allied Health Profession
  • Specialist professional expertise in providing complex clinical and consultancy services
  • Ability to operate with professional independence, clinical competence, and highly developed reflective-practice skills
  • Knowledge of Flinders Upper North Local Health Network strategic directions and health unit operations
