Responsibilities- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on fixed plant and machinery, applying effective solutions to minimise delays.
- Collaborate closely with other team members, including Boilermakers and Welders, to ensure smooth operations and project completion.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and efficiency standards to meet the high expectations of the mining industry.
- Work within designated hours, with flexibility to work overtime as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter.
- Proven experience working on fixed plant and site equipment, preferably in the mining sector.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to a high standard in all maintenance and repair tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety and compliance protocols in heavy industrial or mining environments.
