Clinical Specialist Immunology and Allergy Nurse

The role of a specialist nurse in immunology and allergy involves providing advanced clinical and problem-solving skills to manage patients with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met.
This position plays a pivotal role in planning, managing, and delivering immunology and allergy specialist nursing care within the Healthcare Team structure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing strategies for CHQ to deliver meaningful outcomes for children, young people, and families in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service values.
- Fulfilling this role requires adherence to Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award - State 2015 - Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 6 Band 1 and the Queensland Health and Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQHHS) commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
To be successful in this position, one must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of immunology and allergy principles and practices.
