Job Overview:

This role involves the design, building, and maintenance of scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines. It is a key position in our organization's IT services and consulting operations.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Development
    • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery.
    • Use AWS-based infrastructure tools such as CDK and Terraform to create scalable solutions.
    • Create secure Linux platform solutions.
    • Collaborate with developers to improve deployment and monitoring processes.
    • Automate infrastructure and operational tasks.
    • Maintain infrastructure documentation and ensure compliance with best practices.
    • Ensure software quality through peer reviews and continuous integration.
  • Agile Planning & Delivery
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies and break down work items.
    • Support deployment, integration, testing, and configuration of systems.
    • Collaborate with leads and product owners to prioritize and resolve issues.
    • Proactively manage risks and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Systems Engineering & Support
    • Support deployment, integration, testing, and configuration of systems.
    • Analyze systems and recommend improvements.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents to ensure system reliability.
  • Collaboration & Technical Leadership
    • Act as a technical mentor to software engineers and support their professional development.
    • Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
    • Model engineering standards and team values.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in software development, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead platform role.
  • Demonstrated advanced programming skills in one or more core languages (Python, TypeScript, Shell), including relevant frameworks.
  • System architecture and design experience, with the ability to build scalable, modular, and maintainable solutions.
  • Cloud expertise, particularly in AWS services, deployment, and orchestration.
  • DevOps and CI/CD proficiency, including automated build, test, integration, and deployment pipelines.
  • Strong testing focus, with experience in unit, integration, and automated testing practices.
  • Security-conscious development, applying secure coding standards and data protection principles.
