Child and Adolescent Therapist Position

The Department of Education, Western Australia invites applications for a Child and Adolescent Therapist position. As a dedicated professional, you will be working with students, parents, and school personnel to provide exceptional health and wellbeing support.
This is a permanent part-time (0.6 FTE) position commencing in Term 1, 2025. The successful applicant will have strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
Key responsibilities include delivering direct psychological services, implementing psychology services and programs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance student learning outcomes. You will also assist with the development and implementation of school-based support services and programs.
To succeed in this role, you must hold or be eligible for provisional or general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights, obtain a valid Working With Children Check before starting, and consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.

We have a Learning Centre to support literacy and numeracy development and students with particular learning needs.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,663 - $114,991, depending on experience and qualifications.
