We are seeking a talented educator to join our team as an Essential Skills Lecturer. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students.

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong teaching qualifications and experience in lecturing English and Maths.
  • They will also have the ability to deliver sessions in Welsh and be familiar with the Essential Skills Wales (ESW) suite of qualifications.

You will provide educational guidance and support to our students while ensuring their safety and welfare at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality education to students
  2. Provide educational guidance and support to students
  3. Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
  4. Maintain accurate records of student progress

Essential Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification (e.g Cert Ed/PGCE)
  • Educated to a minimum Level 4 qualification
  • Awareness of quality standards within teaching
  • Recognises and makes students aware of their strengths and development needs
  • Able to deal promptly and effectively with inappropriate behaviour in the classroom
  • Able to demonstrate a commitment to and awareness of the importance of Safeguarding
