Job Description

This page is for individuals wanting to embark on a career as an AFP Recruit. As an AFP Recruit, your primary role will be to protect and serve the community.

  • You will undergo rigorous training at the AFP College, where you will learn practical skills such as defensive tactics and driver training.
  • Upon graduation, you will be sworn-in and commence your role as a frontline officer with legislated powers to enforce the law.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Be an Australian citizen
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Have attained a minimum educational level of a Year 10 Certificate, or higher
  • Hold a valid Australian driver's licence (P Plates are accepted)
