About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund Accountant to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our custody team, you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in unit pricing and tax services to drive quality and accuracy in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and review fund accounting reports, ensuring adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Provide direct client contact and deliver accurate and timely reports, including unit pricing, month-end report packs, distribution calculations, taxable income calculation, and BAS/GST.
  • Contribute to building and sustaining client relationships by supporting the efforts of account managers, client service managers, and the broader team.
  • Resolve client and interdepartmental issues and ad-hoc queries.
Critical Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Broad experience in unit pricing, regulatory and statutory reporting, tax reporting, valuation, and accounting.
  • Proficiency in systems such as Hi-Portfolio and PControl unit pricing system, as well as MS Office Suite.
  • 4+ years' experience in fund accounting, unit pricing, and some tax, ideally with an understanding of the full-service model of master custody.
