As a Casual Teacher at Chisholm Institute, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students. Your primary responsibility will be to provide professional teaching and vocational expertise across all aspects of delivery, planning, and performance to ensure excellent outcomes for learners, employers, and the community.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective education practices and delivery sessions that cater to diverse learner needs.
- Ensure teaching materials and resources meet regulatory standards, training packages, and related requirements.
- Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, promoting student autonomy and responsibility.
- Adapt learning and assessment materials to accommodate different students, learning environments, facilities, and resources.
- Undertake administrative, coordination, and learning services activities related to the areas taught.
- Contribute to the establishment, maintenance, and review of teaching programs.
- Maintain a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment free from discrimination, bullying, and harassment.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select, and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools. You will have a strong understanding of contemporary approaches to education, teaching, and learning.
You will require relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent industry VET qualifications. A record of vocational competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver, and professional currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge, are also essential.
