The role involves leading engagement with strategic capability partners and other contractors to undertake contracting and procurement activity at all levels. You will define strategic sourcing strategies, project strategies, schedule planning, and coordinate contracting and procurement activities to ensure value for money and delivery on time while managing subcontractor risk.

You will be responsible for sourcing processes, including running competitive or sole source processes to down select preferred capability partners and other contractors. You will also prepare negotiation plans and conduct negotiations using project/SME representatives. Additionally, you will provide good governance to ensure suppliers perform as required in accordance with the contract(s) or Purchase Order(s).

To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in commerce, law, supply chain, or related. You will possess in-depth knowledge of category management, strategic sourcing, contracting principles, and best practices. Significant knowledge of contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk is also essential.
