Transport Operations Supervisor and Driver

The Transport Operations Supervisor and Driver will be responsible for providing effective and efficient delivery of transport operations supervision and driving duties where required on site.

Duties include:

  • Providing a transport booking service for all allocated vehicles as instructed
  • Planning day to day operational transport activities as required
  • Planning schedule fleet vehicles to support training activities
  • Working closely with customers and attending meetings as required
  • Leading fleet office team and ensuring customers' transport, training and stores needs are met
  • Using and operating transport and maintenance management systems
  • Completing all relevant documentation and entering data
  • Transporting personnel, including taxi/shuttles, school bus runs and ceremonial occasions
  • Ensuring vehicles are issued in a clean, fully functional state
  • Operating and managing Ventia's fleet vehicles, designated Defence fleet vehicles and hired vehicles
  • Compiling and reporting on operation outcomes

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

- Must hold a Heavy Rigid license or Heavy Combination Licence

- Computer literacy is essential

- Experience in loading and unloading of cargo and goods

- Ability to interact effectively with technical staff, subcontractors and other stakeholders

- Hold a Passenger Vehicle Driver Accreditation or be willing to obtain
