About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Customer Service Officer.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that delivers exceptional service to our customers. As a Retail Customer Service Officer, you will play a key role in providing a positive customer experience by delivering sales and service transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, processing cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS transactions while promoting our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable, with a passion for working in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform customer sales and service transactions
  • Manage high value transactions accurately
  • Conduct and process identity services transactions
  • Promote products and services through up-selling and cross-selling
  • Assist with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience and/or cash handling experience
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable attitude
  • Able to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for shift duration

  • A competitive hourly rate with opportunities for increase after 3 months
  • Part-time position working 20 hours per week: 4 hours per day
