About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Officer to join our team at Warrigal. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Internal Communications Manager to ensure that everyone at Warrigal feels informed and connected.

Your primary responsibility will be to share important updates about our initiatives, culture, and future direction in a clear and engaging manner. You will produce and share materials that help staff and stakeholders understand our goals and their contributions to our mission.

This role is focused on building the internal communications framework by creating clear and consistent materials that align with Warrigal's objectives. It also includes managing and enhancing communication channels to promote a positive and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement internal communications strategies to engage staff and stakeholders
  • Produce high-quality communications materials, including newsletters, emails, and intranet content
  • Manage and enhance communication channels, including the intranet and social media
  • Collaborate with the Internal Communications Manager to ensure consistency and alignment with Warrigal's objectives
  • Provide support and guidance to staff on internal communications best practices
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as marketing, communications, or public relations
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms
  • Well-developed organisational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Advanced computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software
