Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Urban Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in town planning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex planning projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies.
• Provide high-quality advice to clients on planning and development matters.
• Prepare and review Statements of Environmental Effects and Environmental Impact Statements.
• Manage specialist consultants and their outputs.
• Quote preparation and invoicing.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in town planning.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in town planning.
• Experience working in New South Wales, preferably on the north coast.
• Experience in leading and managing projects from inception to completion.
• Experience in briefing and managing external consultants.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to hit the ground running.
