The role of a Security Officer at MSS Security involves providing security presence and customer service to our clients in the Sydney CBD. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting regular foot patrols to ensure a secure environment;
  • Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required;
  • Directing and assisting visitors and the public;
  • Writing reports in response to incidents;
  • Communicating effectively with key stakeholders;
  • Managing visitor sign-in and induction processes, and maintaining key registers and issuing key passes.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Certificate II in Security Operations and current First Aid certificate;
  • A current NSW Security licence;
  • A gun license and advanced first aid training;
  • Dedication, reliability, and a strong commitment to security;
  • Physical fitness to walk and stand for prolonged periods;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with approachability;
  • Computer literacy skills;
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment.

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per annum
