Cement Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Depot Coordinator to join our team in Townsville. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our depot, managing warehouse and dispatch activities, and supporting production operations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and lead monthly preventative maintenance activities to minimize unplanned breakdowns
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving and dispatching goods, and ensuring safe loading and unloading of trucks
- Coordinate and lead shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods
- Provide a customer-centric experience for all customers, supporting Area Managers to deliver an optimal customer experience
- Resolve customer issues within 1 working day and act as a geographical expert for the designated region
- Previous experience in the Logistics and Transport industry
- Forklift License (HRL) - required
- Cert IV in Warehousing (desirable)
- SAP and Microsoft Suite experience
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
- Electrical trade qualification and experience working with PLCs
