About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Education Program in a fixed-term capacity. As an Education Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing specialist education support to young people through assertive outreach, individual case management, intensive learning and teaching interventions, and school re-engagement support.
This is a Full-Time Fixed Term opportunity based within our Education Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist education support to young people through assertive outreach, individual case management, intensive learning and teaching interventions, and school re-engagement support
- Develop and implement tailored education plans to meet the needs of individual students
- Collaborate with educators, social workers, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support to young people
- Monitor student progress and adjust education plans as needed
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Education with relevant experience
- Demonstrated case management experience working with disengaged youth
- Strong understanding of existing youth services and alternative education pathways
- Valid and current Driver's Licence;
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check;
- Valid Employee Working with Children Check;
- Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check
