About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Lifeguards to join our team at the Mornington Peninsula Shire's state-of-the-art Aquatic & Recreation Centre in Rosebud.

As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of patrons and staff within the facility. This includes maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment around the pools, customer services, and plant rooms. You will also be required to have technical knowledge of pool plant systems and water quality principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons
  • Ensure compliance with OHS and public safety applications within an aquatic environment
  • Assist with pool plant systems and water quality maintenance

Requirements:

  • Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
  • Current CPR
  • Current Working with Children Check (or equivalent)
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate

The successful applicant will be available to work across a span of hours across the week, including weekend work. A valid driver's licence is required, and you must be willing to undergo a background check if requested.
