About the Role

This corporate risk management specialist will be responsible for supporting the Group Health, Wellbeing, Safety and Environment (HWSE) strategy, focusing on psychosocial risk management and developing initiatives to reduce health risks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialist advice on injury prevention, management, rehabilitation, and return-to-work processes, including suitable duties plans and associated documentation
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement systems for managing HWSE risks, particularly those related to health, hygiene, and psychosocial factors
  • Championing early intervention and return-to-work programs for employees experiencing injury or illness, providing coaching and education to employees and leaders
  • Fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation to promote healthy activities and behaviours
  • Managing workers' compensation claims and related communication within secure health data storage systems
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 3-5 years' experience in injury management, RTW coordination, personal injury, or workers' compensation insurance
  • Significant experience in managing workers' compensation and injury management programs
  • A proven track record of creating and delivering successful health strategies and injury/illness prevention programs, including psychosocial risk management
  • Ability to understand trends to identify areas for improvement and develop initiatives to support the health and wellbeing culture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently
