Our client is a key Federal Government agency responsible for overseeing the development and administration of policies, programs, and initiatives that ensure the health and welfare of the Australian population. They are undertaking significant ICT projects to enable the development and provision of services for Australians.

**About the Business Area/Section**

The Data and Systems Review Section, within the Grants Branch, is responsible for identifying and documenting grant administration and associated business process workflows to facilitate delivery of an integrated Grant Administration Model. The section identifies data, reporting, and system improvements and defines and documents business requirements to enable system changes.

**Key Responsibilities**

The Senior Business Analyst will provide expertise around:

* Analyzing business processes, documenting requirements, and working with the section to design an efficient updated grant management operating model and business process flow.
* Ensuring detailed business processes and models reflect specific stakeholder requirements, underpinned by workshop engagement with process owners.
* Producing process workflows Business Process Model Notation (BPMN) diagrams and activity tables describing detailed process steps for the future state.
* Contributing to technical design artefact(s) for both system and reporting builds.
* Establishing and supporting management of a Data and Reporting Reference Group.

**Requirements**

* Extensive experience preparing business analysis artefacts, process analysis, and uplift.
* Experience preparing reporting wireframes and defining master schedule requirements.
* Experience in business processes and models for reporting system design.
* Experience using Microsoft Project, Visio, Power BI, and similar modelling software.
* Awareness of Signavio and Microsoft technologies including SharePoint Online and Power Automate.
