Physiotherapy Opportunities

The Casual Pool Physiotherapists contribute to the flexible and consistent Physiotherapy Services across South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.

This includes the opportunity to work across all facilities including Prince of Wales, St George and Sutherland Hospitals.

The Role Overview

Deliver high quality Physiotherapy care to patients of Prince of Wales, St George and Sutherland Hospitals consistent with NSW Health and South Eastern Sydney Local Health District policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Provide high level written, verbal and interpersonal skills to engage patients/clients and work effectively with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Exercise independent professional judgement in the provision of clinical care using evidence based practice commensurate with years of experience.
  • Participate or lead in quality improvement processes and teaching commensurate with years of experience.
Essential Requirements
  • Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated core competency skills in Physiotherapy.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond to the demands and pressures of the role while managing time effectively.
  • Current drivers licence or willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
