Regional Anthropology Lead

The Northern Land Council seeks a highly skilled Regional Coordinator – Anthropology to lead our teams of anthropologists in our regions.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, provide expert anthropological advice, and support Traditional Owners in land and native title matters.
As the Regional Coordinator – Anthropology, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of anthropologists, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee applied research and provide expert advice on land tenure, social organization, and cultural significance.
- Support Traditional Owners in consultations, land disputes, and major development projects.
- Work closely with government agencies, stakeholders, and Aboriginal communities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
You are adaptable, proactive, and comfortable traveling to remote communities. You will bring a sharp analytical mind to undertake complex ethnographic research and provide high-level advice on land tenure issues, cultural significance, and decision-making processes in the context of ALRA and Native Title matters.
