Merchandising Representative Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time merchandising representative to join our team in delivering exceptional sales and marketing solutions. This role involves representing key client partners, working within FMCG channels, and providing field marketing and merchandising expertise.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain product visibility and stock levels within grocery, discount department, and petrol channels.
  • Create engaging point of sale displays, complete planograms, and ensure products are well-stocked and maintained.
  • Negotiate shelf space with store managers to leverage market share and drive sales growth.
  • Monitor stock levels for stores, liaise with store managers, and maintain strong relationships with key personnel.
  • Hold and utilize stock and point of sale materials sent by Field Managers.
  • Report accurate data upon completion of each visit to optimize sales performance.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous merchandising or retail sales experience within FMCG (particularly grocery stores) is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrate strong relationship building skills, negotiation skills, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a positive attitude towards achieving sales results.
  • Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Able to competently use technology and adapt to changing business needs.
