Role Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Finance Accounts Officer to join our team. As the engine of financial operations – Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and banking transactions – you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and timeliness of finance operations across transactions for the Foxtel Group.

Job Description

This key role reports to the Head of Finance Operations and involves:

  • Accounts Payable: Responsible for reviewing and approving weekly accounts payable payment files, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Cash Forecasting: Assist with accounts payable cash forecasting as required, providing valuable insights to inform financial decisions.
  • Daily Customer Refunds: Review and approve daily customer refunds, resolving any issues promptly.
  • Debt Recovery: Responsible for following up on overdue accounts and managing debt recovery processes, minimizing losses.
  • Expense Auditing: Assist with auditing expenses and travel as required, maintaining compliance and accuracy.
  • Payroll Administration: Assist with administration of payroll processes under the supervision of the payroll manager, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Process Improvement: Support process improvement projects as required, driving operational efficiency and excellence.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4+ years' similar experience, ideally in a large corporate organization.
  • Extensive experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactional procedures.
  • ERP and Expense Management systems experience, with the ability to manage multiple systems highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • The ability to set priorities and manage multiple task functions simultaneously.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing organization, managing competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build rapport with key stakeholders.
