We are currently seeking an experienced Quarry Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Neerim North Quarry, VIC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our quarry.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and the Mine Safety Management Plan to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Meet and achieve production targets, optimizing quarry operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures in accordance with client requirements and the site-specific Quarry Management Plan.
  • Develop and implement environmental management strategies to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and the site-specific Environmental Management Plan.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, driving process enhancements and cost savings.
  • Coordinate truck drivers, product deliveries, and associated tasks to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement quarry development and production plans to ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Ability to carry out work as instructed by the Quarry Manager.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Current driver's license, preferably HR or HC.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in continuous improvement strategies.
  • Knowledge and experience with fixed and mobile crushing plants.
  • Knowledge and experience with earthmoving and quarry machinery.
  • Ability to manage production costs versus budget.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience with various plant equipment, including front-end loaders and excavators.
  • Ability to work as an enthusiastic team member.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
