Job Title: Credit Risk Professional - AVP

We are seeking a skilled Credit Risk Professional to join our team. As an AVP, you will play a crucial role in managing credit risk on behalf of our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and mitigating credit risk across a broad mix of corporate and financial institution counterparties.

  • Manage a loan and derivative portfolio with a focus on complex leveraged loans and distressed borrowers.
  • Perform credit analysis and recommend/approve transactions within defined risk parameters.
  • Develop and implement counterparty specific de-risking strategies to mitigate downside risks.
  • Represent the CRM team in conference calls, business meetings, and management committees.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong knowledge of loan documentation and ISDA, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to people at all levels. A minimum undergraduate degree is required, and prior experience in credit risk management and risk management for leveraged/structured transactions is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Credit Analysis: Perform thorough credit analysis to assess the risk of counterparties and transactions.
  2. Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate credit risk and minimize losses.
  3. Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of loans and derivatives to ensure optimal returns while minimizing risk.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, or economics.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of loan documentation and ISDA.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
