About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Development Manager to join our Communities development team in Perth. As a key member of our team, you will assist the Profit Centre Manager in ensuring projects are scoped, designed, and delivered in accordance with our business strategy, vision, and profitability levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project delivery to ensure schedule, revenue, and cost objectives are met;
  • Drive sales and marketing activities to achieve business plan objectives;
  • Assist with the management of design development and review against relevant design standards;
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders, including authorities;
  • Control and monitor development budgets and financial reporting;
  • Monitor progress on site, participate in site meetings, and monitor actions out of these meetings;
  • Procure and pay consultants, contractors, and suppliers;
  • Monitor market and competitor activity to maintain competitiveness;

About You

  • Tertiary qualified in Property/Development will be highly regarded;
  • Prior relevant experience in property in either a development, project management, property valuation, engineering, planning, or analysis capability;
  • Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter;
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving customer-focused outcomes;
  • Basic knowledge of procurement processes and contract administration;
  • Developed stakeholder management and influencing skills;
  • Resilience and excellent communication skills;
  • Driving license essential;
