We're currently seeking experienced Home Health Support Workers to join our team in various locations, including Barren Ground, Moss Vale, Beaumont, Mt Murray, Berrima, New Berrima, Budgong, Penrose, Bullio, Robertson, Bundanoon, Sutton Forest, Burradoo, Wildes Meadow, Burrawong, Wingello, Canyonleigh, East Bowral, Exeter, and Fitzroy Falls.

What We Offer:

  • Permanent Part-time contracts available, depending on your location and availability to work
  • Earn an hourly rate of $31.74 to $32.56 per hour, plus 11.5% super
  • Travel Allowance of $0.92 per KM, plus paid travel time
  • Stable Roster and opportunity to work extra hours based on business needs

  • A fully supported and paid Induction program
  • Traineeship Opportunity - become Cert III qualified in Individual Support (Aged Care), all fees paid (for eligible employees)

Your New Role:

  • Help at Home: assist with cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and assisted dressing
  • Transport: transport customers to appointments, shopping, and social outings
  • Personal Care: experienced staff assist customers with personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, help at mealtime, and medication prompting
  • Client Awareness: build relationships with customers and their families, conduct client observations with ongoing support and training
  • Safety Practices: adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe

Key Requirements:

  • Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a similar industry and/or a Certification in Care
  • Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
  • All Australian Unity Employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with a minimum of 2 doses

  • Proficiency in an additional language such as Mandarin, Vietnamese, Spanish, Arabic, Lebanese, or Greek is valued but not mandatory
