Employment Details

This is a part-time position, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We offer a competitive salary package, including at least 5% above national award rates, as well as additional benefits such as childcare discounts, paid parental leave, and wellbeing days.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Preparing meals that cater to the dietary needs of our children.
  2. Working closely with the Centre Director to plan menus and order food supplies.
  3. Maintaining high standards of food safety through hygienic storage, handling, and preparation of food and drinks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience cooking in a childcare setting. A current SA Working with Children Check is also required.
